Website design

A site that gets found, and then gets used.

Most small-business websites are a brochure nobody asked for. These are built to do two jobs: be readable to the machines that decide whether you come up at all, and turn the visit that follows into an enquiry you can answer.

A real audit of your real site. No sign-in, no card.

And our own

The four Launch Your products run on sites we built for ourselves. Same job, no client to blame.

Concept builds

Not clients. These are sites we built to show what the finished thing looks like when nobody is constraining the brief — a fictional agent and a vertical we have not launched. Labelled, because a portfolio that blurs the two is worth nothing.

“Christian helped me set up the website for my tree business. The website has been a game changer. We are now getting significantly more leads. Affordable and definitely worth the investment. Highly recommend Dane Digital.”

What gets built

Three jobs, in this order.

A site that looks good and cannot be found is decoration. A site that gets found and reads badly wastes the visit. Both have to be true, and the order matters.

1

Readable to a machine

Structured markup naming the business and what it sells, one clear heading per page, and text a crawler can actually read. This is what decides whether you appear at all.

2

Fast on a phone

Most of your visitors arrive on a handset on a patchy signal. Pages are built light — no page here weighs more than a photograph — because the fastest way to lose an enquiry is a spinner.

3

Built to be contacted

One obvious next step on every page, a form that reaches your inbox rather than a dashboard nobody opens, and a phone number that dials on a tap.

Two ways to get one

Rent the site, or own the build.

These are genuinely different things and it is worth being plain about which you want, because the prices look strange side by side until you know.

Custom website

$1,499one-time build

then $50 a month hosting and care — $1,549 due today.

A site designed to your spec, or a rebuild of the one you have. Best when the website is the thing you need and you are not buying a marketing subscription around it.

  • Designed for your business, not fitted to a template
  • Or an optimisation of the site you already own
  • Hosting and care keeps it current after launch
  • No marketing subscription required

Not sure which? The audit below is the fastest way to find out whether you need a rebuild or a tune-up.

Before you ask

The honest answers.

Why is one $149 a month and the other $1,499?

Because they are different purchases. The plan rents you a site as part of a marketing system and keeps it while you subscribe. The build is a site designed to your spec that does not depend on a subscription. Neither is a discount on the other.

Do I have to replace the site I have?

Often not. The same product covers optimising an existing site, and the free audit will usually tell you which you need. A site with good bones and bad markup is a tune-up, not a rebuild.

What is the $50 a month for?

Hosting, and care — the edits, updates and fixes after launch. A site that nobody touches for two years is how most small-business websites end up costing more than they saved.

Who writes the copy?

We draft it and you approve it. If you are on a plan, everything written for you also goes through the compliance gate for your industry before you see it.

Can I see work in my industry?

The five above are real and live — real estate, cabinetry, retail and a software product. Ask on a call and we will point you at the closest one to your trade.

Can I check my current site first?

Yes, and you should. The audit reads your real site, takes about a minute, and needs no card.

Start with the site you already have.

The audit reads it and tells you what is missing. If it comes back clean, you have saved yourself a purchase — which is a perfectly good outcome.
